Careprost Eye Drops

Careprost Eye Drops contain the ocular medication bimatoprost, which is used to treat elevated eye pressure. It is a condition that can result in glaucoma. Careprost Eye Drops may be utilized alone or in conjunction with other medications. Glaucoma is an eye disease caused by optic nerve damage. This damaged nerve causes an abnormal rise in intraocular pressure.

Careprost Eye Drops contain Bimatoprost, a prostaglandin analogue. Primarily, it is used to treat elevated intraocular pressure. It functions by increasing aqueous humor (eye fluid) production and lowering ocular pressure. Because of the elevated pressure, glaucoma may develop. If the pressure is too great, vision loss may result. Careprost Eye Drops should only be applied to the infected eye and should never touch the healthy eye.

Careprost Eye Drops are intended for external use only. Before using, break the seal and wash your hands to prevent infection. If you wear contact lenses, remove and replace them 15 minutes after using Careprost Eye Drops. Occasionally, you may experience eye irritation and conjunctival hyperemia (eye inflammation). The majority of Careprost Eye Drops side effects are transient, do not necessitate medical treatment, and diminish over time. However, if the negative effects persist, consult a physician.

Use Careprost Eye Drops only as prescribed by your doctor. Never promote self-medication or suggest that another person take your medications. Suddenly discontinuing 3 ml of Bimat Ocular Drops can increase eye pressure. Do not use Careprost Eye Drops if you are allergic to sulphonamides or have severe kidney or liver disease. Consult a physician before using Careprost Eye Drops if you have dry eyes or a corneal condition. In addition, Careprost Eye Drops should not be discontinued abruptly, as this may result in severe side effects. Do not use Careprost Eye Drops with another eye medication without first consulting your doctor.

Careprost Eye Drops are prescribed for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension (increased eye pressure)
